Northward

This afternoon JA and I travelled north, around the northern tip of the island of Hawaii to catch a glimpse of the Pololu Valley. Though we didn't traverse the historic trail of .6 miles and elevation loss of over 800 feet, the view was worth it.

This part of the island hand rolling grasslands and pasture with grazing cattle unlike the area around where we were staying. That area is very rocky, mostly lava rock.
